TKM has today announced the official launch date for its new web platform, incorporating a new company website and a variety of additional online services.
The most immediate and visible change will be the company's new and improved website. As Thomas Moore, head of TKMs ongoing online development project, explains "despite the high-tech field in which we operate, many computer forensics companies have been slow to introduce interactive websites." He goes on to say "we are confident that our new website is both easy to use and provides a wealth of valuable information and services to every type of visitor".
TKMs new site has been developed on the basis of feedback received from clients and visitors to their previous online home. In addition to the sort of information you would expect to find on any company website, this launch sees the introduction of live industry and world news, case studies, solution examples and even live fee conversion rates, courtesy of the European Central Bank.
"We aim to offer an informative and productive online experience and we are the first in the industry to bring together such a wealth of information and functionality", says Thomas Moore. "Our website already attracts visitors from research as well as the legal profession and law enforcement."
Over the coming months, there are plans to bring more new services online. These will include online case management, allowing clients to download copies of recovered evidence and case reports as they are produced. "We hope to provide clients with a virtual library of case documents, which will be securely accessible from any computer with internet access", explains Neil Davis, TKMs Director of Investigations.
To facilitate the introduction of extra services, TKM has expanded its existing infrastructure to incorporate powerful new hardware in multiple locations around the world. "If we are to provide live information and online case management, security and reliability are vital. Our new network is based on wide geographic redundancy and robust access control", explains Thomas Moore.
TKMs new online presence will be officially launched on November 1st 2005 with new services coming online over the next few months.
